Nikita Sinha

Walk San José Program Manager

Nikita is passionate about San José’s path to equity and sustainability. Growing up in San José, she enjoyed walking to her local parks, restaurants, and library. Nikita has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Davis. After graduating, Nikita worked at the Sonoma County Water Agency as a CivicSpark AmeriCorps fellow.

While working on regional water use efficiency partnerships, Nikita became interested in what makes cities livable and accessible for all residents. After moving back to San José, she worked to address land use and transportation issues in the South Bay Area as an intern at Greenbelt Alliance. She is excited to join the Cal Walks team and help create a more walkable San José.
